My name is Minn Myat Soe (or Min Myat Soe), a Myanmar walking disaster. I analyze networks for fun. I write programs for my sanity.
I am as quiet as a mouse, as filthy as a duck, as lazy and as brilliant as Peter Parker, a procrastinator, a husband, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a programmer, a network administrator, an IT trainer, a Linux-obsessed, a Java-addict, a die-hard gamer, a Buddhist and an atheist, bad at replying emails.
I have a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Yangon Technological University, and a post-graduate diploma in Management and Administration from the Yangon Institute of Economics, a wonderful girlfriend wife and
a son two sons, a Dell XPS 1330/ Macbook Pro 13″/Macbook Pro Retina 13″, a Blackberry Curve 8320/Bold 9000/iPhone 4/ iPhone 5/ iPhone 6/iPhone XS Max, and a Nikon D40/D300/Df and Fuji X100 😉
I used to play tennis almost every morning, have less worries, take guitar lessons, go to beer bars once a week for two years.
I do run SETI@Home on my computers to search for extraterrestrial lives in our universe, donate my CPU cycles calculating protein foldings to help finding the cure for Cancer, handcode my PHP programs, script Python, read Slashdotted news.
I like coffee, tea, rain, snow, thunder, cold beaches, blue mountains, Umeshu, sci-fi/mystery books, movies, heavy metal music, long-haul flights, watching people, gazing stars, taking pictures of just about anything, traveling.
Explore the archives if you’d like to know more about me, or if you have no better things to do. Either way, a million thanks to you for reading this far 🙂
